TAME STRAUSS CD PACKAGING

I combined two styles of music, classical and contemporary. I used artists Johann Strauss II and Tame Impala. Johann Strauss composed waltzes, polkas, quadrilles, and other types of dance music, including one of his most popular, The Blue Danube. Tame Impala is a psychedelic rock band that is heavily influenced by the 1960s and 1970s style. I created a fun tri-fold CD case to display the styles and orgins of these artists. The CD sleeve is  a die-cut pattern that resembles the motions of the waltz dance. I used photoshop to create a cover that consisted of a statue of Strauss in the style of some Tame Impala art.
